Thanks for marking this as the answer. Does your touchpad support the newer ‘two finger scroll’ gesture, with the latest driver? The laptop touch pad did support the scroll until i updated. I recently installed W10 on this laptop and the only function that isn’t working is the scroll function of the touch pad. Sorry this didn’t help. Did this solve your problem? I like W10 enough to muddle through.

Not sure why the driver update didn’t fix it. If you choose to upgrade, some features, applications, and connected devices may not work as expected. I have an Inspiron with Windows 10 Pro and I either downloaded the drivers off the Dell site or just let Windows do it.

Ubuntu is no surprise, your laptop will run flawlessly with Windows Vista and Windows 7 too. Did this solve your problem?

Previously I had Ubuntu It seems strange that Ubuntu worked flawlessly and W10 does not. I like W10 enough to muddle through.

The touchpad is working just fine for me. Tokchpad not tested for Windows 10 upgrade Dell is not testing or developing Windows 10 drivers for this product. Does your touchpad support the newer ‘two finger scroll’ gesture, with the latest driver?
It’s been over a year so I don’t remember exactly. This thread is locked. This site in other languages x.
